Research and Development Phase for the Unique Fuel Technology®

 

Dr. David Wheeler and his partner Nora Kosztolanyi, who live and work in Oregon, have invented the Unique Fuel Technology that is currently being researched for improving fuel economy and reducing emissions. The Unique Fuel Technology is attached externally to the fuel line in gas and diesel engines and possibly engines powered by other kinds of fuel. Using a novel approach based on the application of a technology that does not add any substance or make direct contact with fuel apparently results in a molecular enhancement of the basic carbon and hydrogen structure to support more efficient fuel burning. Current testing at a California facility that is EPA recognized and CARB certified for in house testing and with outside consulting engineers for on the road testing has revealed the following test results:

1)    On the road tests managed by a consulting engineer associated with the California testing facility demonstrated slightly over an 11% improvement in fuel economy, with the additional conclusion that the Unique Fuel Technology will decrease emissions by virtue of increased fuel burning efficiency.

 

2)  Tests in house at the California facility demonstrated a meaningful decrease in emissions for gas engines that involve THC (Total Hydrocarbons), CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) and CO (Carbon Monoxide) and a meaningful decrease in diesel particulates for diesel engines.

 

The Unique Fuel Technology involves an absolutely essential approach for the use of all fuels, which may apply to both liquid and gas fuels. The goal is to test the Unique Fuel Technology for all applications. This includes cars, trucks, watercraft, aircraft and stationary engines.

Where as other approaches involve new types of engines, additives and new applications for the type of fuel used, the Unique Fuel Technology is meant to improve the efficient burning of any fuel liquid or gas in any engine. The Unique Fuel Technology can also be applied when other technologies are in use to even further increase the efficient burning of any fuel in any engine.

There are important factors that make the Unique Fuel Technology universally applicable. This technology does not involve the adding of any substance to fuel. The fuel line is left intact and the technology wraps around its circumference. Installation is quick and easy. The cost is projected to be very low and provide a positive financial return in commercial vehicles and other industrial applications within a few months.

The Unique Fuel Technology is classified as a nanotechnology because of the way in which changes fuel at the molecular level that is smaller than 100 nm. The Unique Fuel Technology introduces input into fuel at a nano level as it travels through a fuel line and is able to reassemble fuel molecules such that they burn more efficiently. This translates into increased fuel economy and reduced emissions. 

 

The goal is to see the Unique Fuel Technology used pervasively worldwide in millions of engines in the auto, truck, watercraft, aircraft and stationary engine marketplace for energy production. This could translate into a significant drop in fuel use, regardless of other engine and fuel improvements for any type of fuel. If the Unique Fuel Technology could shave five percent off the use of fossil fuels in the United States and other countries the impact would be tremendous economically and for the environment. The savings could be billions of dollars a year for both commercial and non commercial applications. 

The argument pro and con about whether global warming is being dramatically impacted by human activity is not dealt with by the inventors. They believe that the argument about whether global warming is actually taking place and if so that it is caused by human activity is a distraction from the basic issues or enhancing energy resources and producing less pollution. The only reason there is an ongoing argument about global warming is because neither side has proven their case conclusively and instead seem to be driven by political agendas.

The focus is less theoretical when it comes to global warming issues and the use of the Unique Fuel Technology -- instead more on the practical side of health, natural resources and the environment. Human society and the environment will benefit from a decrease in fuel burning through the application of the Unique Fuel Technology. The less fuel used for engines worldwide the greater the conservation of natural resources, which results in profound economic benefits. With less emissions produced through the application of the Unique Fuel Technology there is a direct and positive impact on the health of humans, animals, plants and the environment as a whole.

Disclaimer: Although test results for the Unique Fuel Technology look promising, before making any public claims or to sell the Unique Fuel Technology more testing is required based on third party expert guidance and comprehensive peer review must be written by experts in the appropriate field. It is projected that sales of the Unique Fuel Technology will start no later than the second quarter of 2009.
